day 4
i hate the sadness and the parts that make you feel like your heart is sick. i hate the new people you have to get to know. everything get’s overwhelming. it’s change. and the immensity of having to find a new kind of track. i hate the waking up at 5 in the morning thinking you heard someone moving, or feeling him next to you, but then you find it’s just a kitchen light that got left on and the wind, or it’s only a dream. and the getting back to sleep is never easy, but you have to, and you figure out easier ways. make it happen. but you still wake up with the first light as it filters in through blinds, because there’s nothing to hold you under any more, nothing to keep you asleep. i hate how you spend the whole day laying there in bed, because maybe if you roll around enough the bed wont feel as empty. it’s your death bed. everything you need is gathered around you, your friends come to you. and everything aches and aches.
i hate the ache.
